1. What Vito is

Vito is a habit and wellbeing app with an artificial intelligence coach. It's offered by Vito (govito.app), Calle 2B # 1-29, Bogotá, Colombia, 110731 (vito@govito.app).

2. Vito is not medical care

Vito offers support and general information for your habits and wellbeing. It doesn't provide diagnoses, treatments or medical, psychological or nutritional advice, and it doesn't replace a professional.

Before changing your diet, your exercise or your medication, talk to a health professional.

If you're in an emergency or thinking about hurting yourself, call 123 in Colombia or your country's emergency number.

3. About artificial intelligence

Vito's replies are generated by an artificial intelligence model. They can be incomplete or wrong: use them with judgment.

Vito can create or adjust habits and missions when you ask in the chat. Review the changes: you can always edit or delete them.

Don't share other people's sensitive data in the chat.

4. Your account

• You must be at least 13. If you're under 18, you need permission from your parent or legal guardian.
• Use real information and keep your password safe: you're responsible for what happens in your account. If you notice unusual activity, email us.
• Your account is personal and non-transferable.

5. What's free and Vito Plus

Vito is free and has no ads: your habits, your mood, your sleep, the chat with Vito and the rest of the app cost nothing.

Vito Plus is optional and adds features: complete themes, partner habits, creating challenges with friends (joining one is free), “What lifts your mood”, your full year in Progress and exporting your data. What it includes may grow over time.

• Plans. A monthly or yearly subscription, or Founder: a single payment that gives you Vito Plus with no expiry date for as long as Vito keeps running, and doesn't renew.
• Prices. You see them in the app, in your currency, before paying, with whatever taxes Google Play applies. Nothing is charged without your confirmation.
• Payments. Google Play handles them with the payment method on your Google account. We don't see or store your payment details.
• Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period (month or year) until you cancel. Cancel anytime in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, and you keep Plus until the end of the period you already paid for. Uninstalling the app or deleting your account doesn't cancel the subscription.
• Refunds. Google Play handles them under its policies. If you have a problem with a charge, email us and we'll help.
• Price changes. If your subscription's price changes, we'll let you know beforehand, and Google Play will ask for your consent when its rules or the law require it.
• Accounts from before Plus. People who had an account before Vito Plus launched get it free for 12 months. When that ends, they keep the free version or buy Plus if they want.
• Gift codes. We may give Vito Plus away with codes. You redeem them in the app (Vito Plus → I have a gift code); each one works for the number of accounts it states, and its time is added to the end of the Plus you already have. If you have a subscription that renews, cancel it first. Codes aren't sold and can't be exchanged for money: if someone offers to sell you one, it doesn't come from Vito.
• Your account. Vito Plus is tied to your Vito account and to the Google account you paid with; it can't be moved to another account.

If we ever stop offering Vito Plus or shut Vito down, we'll let you know in advance and stop charging subscriptions.

6. Acceptable use

When using Vito you agree not to:

• use it for anything illegal or to harm other people;
• try to access other people's accounts or data, or break the service's security;
• copy, decompile or modify the app, except as the law allows;
• use bots or scripts, or overload the service (for example, with automated chat messages);
• try to unlock Vito Plus without paying for it or without a valid code, for example by guessing codes;
• sell Vito Plus gift codes;
• use challenges, partner habits or nudges to bother or harass someone;
• try to get Vito to generate illegal or violent content, or content that harasses someone.

If you don't follow these terms, we may limit or suspend your account.

7. Your content

• What you write and log in Vito (habits, notes, conversations) is yours.
• You allow us to store and process it, including with artificial intelligence, only to provide the service, as explained in the Privacy Policy.
• If you share a habit or join a challenge, the other person sees your name and your progress on what you share. You can stop sharing anytime.
• If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them to improve Vito without that creating any obligation.

8. Our property

The app, the Vito name and logo, its design, its texts and its code are ours. We give you a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable license to use the app on your devices as long as you follow these terms.

9. Third-party services

• Vito connects with other companies' services, such as Google Play, Health Connect and Google. Their use is also governed by their own terms.
• Movie and show data comes from TMDB. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
• Book data comes from Google Books and Open Library, and the weather forecast from Open-Meteo.

10. Availability and changes to the service

We work to keep Vito running well, but it may have outages, maintenance pauses or changes to its features. We may add, change or remove features; if we retire something important, we'll let you know.

11. Termination

• You can stop using Vito and delete your account anytime (here's how).
• We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put other people or the service at risk. When possible, we'll let you know beforehand and tell you why.
• If you have a Vito Plus subscription, cancel it in Google Play before deleting your account.

12. Liability

Vito is provided as is and as available. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect damages, for decisions made based on the app's replies or for failures of third-party services.

None of this limits the consumer rights you have under Colombian law (Law 1480 of 2011) that can't be waived.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Colombia. If you have a claim, email us first at vito@govito.app so we can find a solution. If we can't, you may go to Colombia's Superintendence of Industry and Commerce or to the courts of Colombia.

14. Changes to these terms

If we change anything important, we'll let you know in the app or by email before it applies. If you keep using Vito afterwards, you accept the new terms.
