Delete your Vito account

From the app

1. Open Vito and go to Profile.
2. Tap Privacy → Delete account.
3. Confirm with your Google account or your password.

Done: you'll get a goodbye email confirming it.

Without the app

Email vito@govito.app from your account's email address, with the subject “Delete my account”. We'll delete it within 15 business days and confirm by email.

If you have Vito Plus

Deleting your account doesn't cancel your subscription. Cancel it first in Google Play: Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Vito.

What gets deleted

• Your account (name, email, photo and sign-up details).
• Your habits, your plan and their history.
• Your mood and what you wrote in the journal.
• Your conversations with Vito and the summary it keeps of them.
• Saved sleep, steps and weight, and your water log.
• Your Library, Movies & TV, workouts and missions.
• Your spot in challenges with friends and in partner habits.
• Your Vito Plus purchase receipts and the codes you redeemed.

What isn't deleted

• Data stored in Health Connect, on your phone: Vito only reads it. You manage it from Health Connect.
• The payment records Google Play keeps, under its policies.
• Anything a law requires us to keep, only for as long as it requires.
